1930s French Art Deco Rouge Marble & Bronze Clock & Garnitures w/ Nude Woman. This listing is for a very handsome 1930’s French Art Deco rouge marble and bronze mounted clock with a bronze figure of reclined nude woman on the top of the clock and matching garnitures. The clock measures 13 ΒΌ inches or 33.6 cm high, and is 12 inches or 30.4 cm wide. The garnitures measure 7 inches or 17.7 cm high. The clock is panels of rouge marble with a gilt bronze frieze at the bottom with bas relief roses. The top of the clock is mounted with a full figure of nude reclined woman holding a torch in one hand. The face of the clock is white hand painted porcelain with black Arabic numerals and black hands. There are no cracks or chips to the dial. The dial has a hinged cover with convex glass. The matching garnitures have gilt bronze plaques at the front with bas relief roses. The condition is as follows; the marble clock case and garnitures have some minor chipping and the bronze has age appropriate patina variations. The garnitures have some repairs at the corners. The clock is not working and needs the kind attention of a clock person. It comes with a key and pendulum.
